Knowing the names of the notes on the guitar fretboard is a fundamental skill for playing many styles of guitar. Fret Tutor is a shareware program designed to help beginning to intermediate level guitar players learn the notes on the guitar fretboard. I wrote it to help me teach myself, and it worked so well that I thought it might be useful to other aspiring guitarists.
